Changes at RePublik

From Saturday July 26th, its now looking like The Loft will be no more but even if not so, it certainly will be gone very soon anyway as Ten's lease is likely to be taken up fairly soon by a new tenant.

So Now What?
Well, not to worry, RePublik will be on the Electric Avenue Terrace throughout August every Saturday night and it will be FREE admission on the door. The Terrace of course has seen us host some memorable nights there in the past and our intention was to host some nights there during the summer anyway, so really not much has changed.
We will also continue to host our monthly Friday night(er) in Electric Avenue, which has seen the likes of Kerri Chandler, Fish Go Deep & Jason Hodges already play for us and August will see MARK FARINA return to help us celebrate our 3rd Birthday Party Part 1, when he stops off in little old Waterford on his FABRIC:40 Mix World Tour. As we are heading toward 3 years, our hope is to have 3 birthday parties over a 3 week or so period. More details of which will be out soon.

So what's the long term Future for RePublik?
Well we are currently looking at a few options really, one of them will enable us to continue our weekly Saturday night party in town. We hope to make an announcement in the next couple of weeks on this, and depending on holiday's etc, we hope to have some plan finalised by the second week in August, but as we said above August/Early September is already taken care of as we will be on hand each & every Saturday night on The Terrace.

For now lets enjoy the next couple of weeks in The Loft, with Jimpster this week before the RePublik DJs next week and then onto the Terrace.
